1. TFTGS Junior Points Championship - The First Tee of Sacramento -  Whitney Oaks Golf Club - Rocklin CA - January 28, 2006

Casie was invited to play  in the Points Championship at Whitney Oaks after finishing first in overall points for the 2005 golf season in The First Tee of  Sacramento's 12-14 year old girls age group, . Although a darkness and rain shortened event  a  great start with a first place showing.  Congratulations to overall girls winner Tiffany Dong.

2. Sonoma County Junior Open-JGANC - Oakmont GC,  Santa Rosa, CA- March 18, 2006

A very average start to the year.  Casie scrambled all day. Under the circumstances 1st place was awesome and  much better than  2nd or third. Congratulations to the rest of the field especially Natalya Cruz  who played great. This was a well run tournament by Bob Cazet and the rest of his volunteers. This should not be a Major event in the future. A great deal of fun was had by all.

3. Alta Sierra Junior Classic - The First Tee of Sacramento - Alta Sierra CC - Grass Valley CA - March 26, 2006

Not a great day for putting (44) or chipping resulted in a 2nd place finish. The pictures on the green I added are to illustrate that  a happy putter is a good putter on any day. There were no smiles this day so get happy!!!!!. Congratulations to Ashley Noda 12-14 year old girls winner.  Great tournament put on by both The First Tee of Sacramento and the great people at Alta Sierra CC . Oh by the way this page contains 1 of only 3  pictures of the web master of this site. With almost 1000 pictures on this site that's not to bad a percentage.

4. Empire Ranch Junior Golf Tournament-The First Tee of Sacramento - Empire Ranch CC- Folsom, CA April 15, 2006

Not a great day for putting (46) chipping, driving, or iron play .That being said only 1 fairway was missed. However 5 balls did find water. Better luck next year. There are those glasses again.

5. Castlewood Junior Tournament - JGANC - Castlewood CC - Pleasanton, CA, April 17-18, 2006

Things getting  a little better. Still struggling with growing  taller . An encouraging 2nd place finish. This tournament as always is one on the best JGANC tournaments there is on the calendar.  The golf course was in amazing shape considering all the bad weather. Congratulation to the girls overall winner Diane Kwon.

6. Northern California Short Course Championship - JGANC- Santa Rosa Fairgrounds - Santa Rosa, Ca - April 29, 2006

Another great event put on by Bob Cazet and his amazing volunteers. Some of these volunteers play for Bob on a high school football team. I would name it if I could remember, however these kids are great.  As a large amount of fun was had by all. This was a great short course to play and practice short game play.

7. Bing Maloney Junior Golf Tournament- The First Tee of Sacramento - Bing Maloney Golf Course - Sacramento, Ca - May 6 2006

Great tournament, great play, great fun , bad scoring. All in all a day to learn and reflect from. Thanks to Tom Morton for hosting a great event.  Congratulations to Chelsea Stelzmiller for winning the overall girls championship

8. Oakmont Junior- JGANC - Oakmont GC-Santa Rosa, CA- May 13, 2006

Its been a strange year consistency has be lacking. As a result overall scoring has gone up. Another 2nd place finish due mainly to some interesting putting choices. Again Casie scrambled all day with the putter. Under the circumstances 2nd place is better then 3rd place.  Again Bob and his group did another great job in staging this event.

9. Bartley Cavanaugh Junior Classic- The First Tee of Sacramento- Bartley Cavanaugh GC-Sacramento CA- June 3, 2006

Great event and a very poor showing. A change in direction is right around the corner As stated previously it has been a strange year lacking in a consistent level of performance. Another great First Tee of Sacramento  event. Thanks to Dylan Flynn and the rest of his staff for all of their hard work.

10. Pleasanton Junior Open - JGANC- Pleasanton Fairgrounds- Pleasanton CA- June 11, 2006

Much much better scoring  (32)as a result of our new direction in instruction. It seems that greater attention to detail has resulted in much more inspired  play. Some great up and downs with  some of the best putting we have seen all year. A well run event that was loads of fun.

No pictures .

11. A. G. Spanos Junior Classic - The First Tee of Sacramento - Mather Air Force - Sacramento, CA- June 13, 2006

I am sure Casie has played well here. I just have not seen it. With a new swing to learn, and putting that's getting better and better there was too much to think about. With a 3rd place finish there were some very positive things to take from this event. Another great  TFTGS tournament that was a great deal of fun

Picture are here !!!!!

12. USGA - Junior Girls Qualifying - Merced CC- Merced, CA- June 16, 2006

In an attempt to see what more had to be worked on Casie attempted to qualify for her first USGA event. With a few weeks to prepare this was a great experience. Having never competed in this type of event before it was very apparent that more work was needed. Under the circumstances Casie has played well here. With a new caddy and new swing there were some very positive things to take from this event.  Al in all a great day. The golf course was in great shape.

More updates will not follow I got to far behind although 2006 did end with a win.
