Salinas 2002

Salinas Little Peoples Tournament June 20- 21, 2002

This was Casie's first tournament. From trying to trade clubs to seeing if she could knock it on from 40 yards with a driver it was the most fun she had had at a golf course up until that time. I however almost died of a heart attack. We showed her how to hit a ball but not how to play golf. A valuable lesson for those people wanting to teach someone to play golf. GET OFF THE RANGE AND TO A GOLF COURSE AND PLAY . We soon after soon after joined a private club so we could play and include her brother. Casie's scores of 52, 50 over two days was for her first foray into organized golf outstanding. Below is her card from her first ever tournament round which was signed by both score keepers
